先日、サンフランシスコに住むShawn Whisenantが亡くなったという知らせが届きました。僕たちはJaiのPrint Exchange Programを通して、4年ほど前から写真やジンなどを交換し合っていました。突然の事とはいえ、彼に送るべきだった写真なども手元にまだあり、言葉も無くただただ残念な気持ちでいっぱいです。同じ年代を生き、写真を通して出会うことのできた数少ない友人へ、心より哀悼の意を捧げます。
I heard so sad news about Shawn. He is very nice photographer, an artist for me. We had exchanged prints and some stuff for a few years. I'm so sorry about I have not sent yet some photos what I should show them to him. RIP Shawn Whisenant.
